Our Vision

In 1999 our congregation spent a day seeking God's will to create a vision of His Church in our parish. It was originally a 5 year vision but still inspires all we do. We developed a vision to be:

A Christ Centred Church that:

Reaches Up to God

by using teaching, prayer, Spiritual gifts & talents

for the whole Church family

Giving us all a deeper understanding of

Gad and the Bible

 

 

 

 

Reaches in to one another

by worship, teaching and fellowship

involving the whole Church family;

meeting all the family's

Spiritual needs and

Pastoral needs

 

 

 

Reaches out to others

by sharing Gods' love

in our daily lives and our wider community links

with people of all ages in the community

bringing them into

a loving and living relationship with Jesus

 

 

 

Uses our buildings

by creating an appropriate Christian environment

in our buildings and spaces;

meeting requirements for

worship, teaching

and community links with all age groups

 

 

 

Since then we have all grown in faith and trust and many have joined Home Groups. We have run many Alpha courses, through which many have found a new ralationship with a loving God.

We are currently seeking God's will for how to use our buildings - especially Wick Hall and the Wick Information Centre to better serve the community of Wick and share God's love with our neighbours.
