Home Groups - small groups meeting at home

At All Saints, many of our congregation meet, each week in small groups. This is what we read in the Acts of the Apostles:

They worshipped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity - all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved. Acts 2:46,47

There is something special about meeting with God on Sunday, enveloped in an atmosphere of worship, bet there is something special, in a different way, about meeting to share in and intimate environment. In a small group, people can discuss their faith and share their doubts and fears. They can rejoice in God’s blessings and encourage one another in faith and life. If someone is ill or going through a tough time, who better than a close group of Christian friends to pray with them and support them.

But home groups are not just for experienced Christians. We have found that many people, who have not yet felt able to attend a Sunday service, enjoy being able to explore and share in the safe and friendly atmosphere of a home group.

Pictured here are some of our home group leaders.

We have different homegroups meeting at varied times and days of the week.  If you are interested in joining one please contact Viv who will be pleased to help you find a group that suits you by clicking here
