Sunday School

Children are a very important part of the Church family. We want them to enjoy coming to church and to grow up to know, love and trust in Jesus.

Jesus himself said,  "Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." Children are not the Church of the future, they are a vital part of the Church today.

Each Sunday children take part in the worship but, some weeks, will go to their own activities during the sermon. They will return in time to receive a blessing at Communion time.

Sunday School is lead by Alison Manester, who has many decades of experience, both of Sunday School and of leading worship and preaching. Alison is also a qualified Guider and runs two local Rainbow Groups.

Child protection

Jesus also said, "Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who trusts in me to lose faith, it would be better for that person to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around the neck.

In All Saints we take child protection very seriously indeed. We have a child protection officer and follow all Diocesan guidelines for ensuring child safety. All who work with children have undergone police checks.
