Confirmations October 2008

The Deanery Confirmations on October 2008 were held at St Wilfrid's Church Bognor Regis. There were 2 candidates from All Saints Wick, three from St Wilfrid's and no more. This made it a really personal time for our candidates. St Wilfrid's belongs within the 'Catholic' tradition of the Church of England - or Bells and Smells as some call it. For the large number of supporters from All Saints, Bishop Lindsay joked, "Don't worry, its not that different from your worship - the Bible, followed by bread and wine.

Candidates from All Saints were Emma Nwaorgu (27) and Garry Burgess (42 all but 1 day). Emma had married Victor Nwaorgu, in All Saints, in April. Their son Emmanuel is in the photo
