For the People of Wick

Whatever you need to know, if you live in Wick, the Wick Information Centre is your first stop. We have a vast selection of leaflets - from healthcare to holidays, from adoption to pensions. We also hold a vast database of information on local organisations of all kinds - local government, voluntary, commercial... we've got it.

If you have trouble with your eyesight, your hearing, reading or anything that stops you getting the help you need, we will do all we can to help you.

And we can do far more than supply information. We can help you with photocopying, desk-top publishing, laminating and other services. We also have internet computers that you can use to get your e-mails, surf the web and keep in touch with loved ones far away. Don't know how to use a computer? No problem. We will teach you, from the basics to being a computer wizz.

The Wick Information Centre is run by All Saints Wick. It has been open since 1997 and recently celebrated 20,000 visitors. Centre Co-ordinator, Geoff Philpott, looks after the day to day management. Geoff is assisted by a team of volunteers, all committed to helping their neighbours in whatever way they can.

Behind the scenes is a management committee, chaired by Mrs Julie Burnett-Kirk, a member of All Saints. The committe includes two local councillors and others with the community on their hearts.
