Alpha at All Saints Wick
We believe that everyone should have the chance to ask life’s big questions like: What is my purpose? What happens when I die? Why is there suffering? Is there a God?
Our Next Alpha Starts on Wednesday, 28th January 2026 at 7.30pm in the Garden Room, behind All Saints Church. You can sign up using the form at the bottom of this page.
What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith for the open-minded, the adventurous and the curious. We want everyone to have the chance to explore faith, ask questions and share their point of view.
Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs online, in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: hospitality, a talk and good conversation.
What to Expect
Our first Alpha Course of 2026 runs on Wednesday nights from 28th January 2026. We start at 7.30pm and end at 9pm.
Alpha is free but we do suggest a £3 donation towards the cost of food and course materials.
Eat & Connect
When you arrive at the start of each session, you’ll connect with your small group over cake, snacks and drinks and your host will give you a brief introduction about what the subject is for that session.
Watch
We then watch a 25 minute film together that is designed to encourage questions.
Discuss
After the film there will be a chance for open discussion - you can say anything you like, or nothing at all.
