Weekly News 04/04

02 May 2020 09:24

I'm still finding it really hard not being able to meet together, but it has been amazing to hear of how people are keeping in contact, sharing online and staying close to God. Won't it be an amazing testimony to come out of this with our faith strengthened and an even greater love for God and our neighbours. I'm sure that God will use this time for good, even though as times it will no doubt feel like a struggle, I think this week has particularly hit a few people so let's keep praying for each other.

Here are a few updates, links and reminders, and do feel free to get in touch if there's anything you'd like to chat or pray about...

Online Services and Meetings
Do give Zoom a go if you haven't yet. There are also direct links in All Saints Times - open the news sheet from your email, and then you can click on the zoom links from your computer. These Meeting ID codes are the same each week!

Outreach and Evangelism
A number of people have asked for resources to invite friends to engage with faith during this time. I have made a short video (link: https://youtu.be/O-KaiTU9cfc) and also a dedicated page on our website which I hope might be something you could share: www.allsaintswick.org.uk/Covid19

God bless everyone, and here again is another wonderful challenge and encouragement from this week's reading in James: 'whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom and continues in it – not forgetting what they have heard but doing it – they will be blessed in what they do.' James 1:25

God bless,
Tom
